1. It describes or explains some parts of the world (how atom act).
- What if humans had taken a different path a long time ago. In the days of the Greeks and Romans, humans believed in gods. They had a different god for different parts of nature. It thundered because Zeus was angry, the earth quake last week was made by Poseidon and the harvest will only grow if you give Demeter a good temple of worship. What if humans never entered the age of enlightenment where we started to turn towards science and away from complete religion? Our “Knowledge” would probably be considerably different How did we turn toward science, how did someone “come up with science?” Who was the first to turn away from religion?
3. Knowledge is a human pursuit full of richness and complexity, and the acquisition of knowledge varies from individual to individual and culture to culture.
-Is it really only a human trait? What about animals, don't they know things, or is that classified differently. What about knowing who your predators are, or what kind of dance you need to do to get a mate, or knowing that if I role over, my human will give me a treat?

- Every now and then, you hear the saying Ignorance is bliss. Is it? Now a day, it is good to be considered smart (to know a lot) but does any good come out of being ignorant?
