Requirement 1
I’ve been going to the movies recently and I’ve noticed that almost every movie has to do with war/violence/killing. Now personally, I don’t have a problem with that, it’s just something that I’ve been noticing sitting in the theaters, watching previews. Take the Avengers for instance. I love this movie, it was epic and I want to see it again and again and again, but it’s all about war and carnage. DC universe/comics are all about war and carnage. Next look at the new movie Snow White and the Huntsman=war and carnage, John Carter=war and carnage, Prometheus=war and carnage, Hunger Games=SERIOUS war and carnage. All in all, I see a trend. We like war and carnage. It’s something us humans find entertaining. Why is that? Would we like it less if we lived in an actual war zone? Would we still like it if the avengers didn’t win, if Batman didn’t rise again? Do you need war and carnage to make a good movie?
